Excelsior! We now know when guests of Disneyland Resort will be able to step into the Marvel Universe. Avengers Campus will open at Disney’s California Adventure on June 4.
- Disney shared a presentation on their parks today, featuring Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, Josh D’Amaro and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.
- The pair discussed the exciting new land at length and Feige mentioned that this is the only place in the world Marvel fans can see a full quinjet.
- Feige also mentioned the thing he is most looking forward to is the character interactions guests will get when they step into Avengers Campus.
- Finally, D’Amaro joked that he thought it would be cool to open the new land on Feige’s birthday, June 2. With that being on a Wednesday, he decided to open the new land just two days later on June 4.

- When it opens, the new land will be home to an exciting new attraction – Worldwide Engineering Brigade – which, as you could probably guess based on the acronym, will takes guests on an adventure with your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
- A second attraction will eventually open that will allow guests to board a quinjet and take an adventure to Wakanda and beyond.
- The land will of course offer special food and beverage offerings at a variety of locations like the Pym Test Kitchen, Pym Tasting Lab, Shawarma Palace and Terran Treats.
- Guests will also find all kinds of exciting new Marvel merchandise at a variety of shops. This will include the new Spider-Bots and much more.
- And of course, an adventure into the Marvel Universe wouldn’t be complete without seeing some of your favorite characters. Guests will be able to come face to face with Captain America, Captain Marvel, Black Panther and many others. You may even spot Spider-Man swinging across the rooftops above.
