As we inch closer to the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World, users of the My Disney Experience app can learn more about the history of the resort thanks to a new series now available in the app, Designing Disney Parks!
What’s Happening:
- As part of the World’s Most Magical Celebration, Walt Disney World is inviting fans to learn more about the history behind Disney Parks in the exclusive Designing Disney Parks series – streaming now exclusively on the My Disney Experience app!
- While the first installment is available on the app now, it only focuses on the origins of the Walt Disney World resort, and will likely continue as we get closer to the kickoff of the World’s Most Magical Celebration, the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World on October 1st.
- The new series on the My Disney Experience app is only one offering of many that are coming for the event later this year. Others include:
- Disney Enchantment – a nighttime spectacular with Disney Music, effects, stunning fireworks, and immersive projections that stretch from Cinderella Castle down Main Street USA.
- Harmonious – Be entranced by a new nighttime spectacular over World Showcase Lagoon at EPCOT with pyrotechnics, fountains, dazzling lights, and more!
- Beacons of Magic – The World’s Most Magical Celebration will light up with wonder as the theme park icons are transformed into beacons of magic nightly at select parks.
- Disney Fab 50 Character Collection – 50 Characters, cast in gold will be displayed across all four theme parks of the resort, waiting to be discovered by fans.
- Disney KiteTails – At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, look to the sky for an all-new, high flying performance featuring Disney character-themed kites and beloved Disney songs.
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure – Bring the whole family to zip, dash and scurry through Gusteau’s kitchen as you take in the sights, sounds and even smells from Remy’s world.
