Today marked the start of “World Princess Week” and Walt Disney World celebrated by opening up a new Tiana-themed play area at EPCOT.
- The new play area focuses on the beloved character from The Princess and the Frog.
- The play area is located near the entrance to the temporary MouseGear location and features all kinds of designs from the film.
- Children can enjoy all kinds of playground equipment and games while celebrating “World Princess Week” with Tiana in this new play area.

- The Walt Disney Company announced “World Princess Week” starting August 23 with new products, digital content, and offerings from the parks and resorts happening all week long in celebration of Disney’s Ultimate Princess Celebration.
- Disney is celebrating with various treats that can be found around Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.
- Disneyland Paris has also announced some of the offerings guests will be able to find from during “World Princess Week at the resort.
- As part of the celebration and in line with World Princess Week, merchandise collaborations will be highlighted as well as the unveiling of a new range of products from fan favorite retailers.
