Marvel's DNX Crossover Event Is Teasing a "Battle To The Death" Between Two X-Men Favorites

Marvel Comics has been teasing its big X-Men/Fantastic Four crossover event, DNX for months. Now we're getting some more details about exactly what we'll see, and it looks like it will be bad news for one popular character.
What's Happening:
- The upcoming DNX series will see the X-Men and Fantastic Four join forces to take on 3K, a group of villainous mutants attempting to create more mutants through the release of the X-virus.
- The story pits the X-Men, led by Cyclops against 3K, led by its Chairman, former X-Men member Hank McCoy (Beast)
- Marvel Comics has released details on the final two issues of the DNX series, as well as a tie-in issue of X-Men:
- DNX #4: The X-Men and the Fantastic Four deal with the aftermath of an unexpected catastrophe. 3K’s Chairman learns that his plans have a flaw.
- X-MEN #41: a DNX tie-in issue, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four find themselves at odds with the Office of National Emergency (O*N*E)
- DNX #5: Scott Summers and Henry McCoy come face to face in the epic conclusion in a battle "To the death."

- Issue #1 of DNX will be released September 2. Issue #5 is dated for November 18.
- Marvel Comics is also teasing that the events of DNX will lead to the launch of an all new solo series, but details on that are still forthcoming.
