Photos: Mickey & Friends Debut New Halloween Costumes at Disneyland

Halloween Time has officially arrived at the Disneyland Resort, and Mickey & Friends are getting into the spooky spirit with brand-new looks for the season.

What’s Happening:

• Today marks the first day of Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, and guests visiting Town Square can now meet the beloved characters in their festive new costumes. 

• After embracing the Disneyland 70th Celebration with their Halloween looks last year, Mickey and Minnie are taking a more traditional approach to spooky season in 2026.

• The new costumes are filled with classic Halloween-inspired details, including harlequin-style patterns, frilled collars and cuffs, and whimsical swirls in shades of orange, yellow and black. The colorful designs give the characters a playful, vintage-inspired Halloween aesthetic while still feeling perfectly suited to the Disneyland Resort’s seasonal celebration.

• Donald Duck and Goofy are also meeting guests in their own seasonal costumes, giving fans the opportunity to see the classic Disney friends dressed for the occasion.
• The characters are greeting guests in Town Square, making the area near the entrance to Disneyland a must-visit stop for anyone looking to kick off their Halloween Time experience with some seasonal character photos.
• The new costumes are also another example of Disneyland's tradition of giving Mickey and Minnie fresh looks for Halloween. While last year's designs tied into the resort's 70th anniversary, this year's costumes lean into the classic visual language of Halloween with spooky colors, playful patterns, and theatrical details.

• With Halloween Time officially underway, guests can now experience the full seasonal transformation across the Disneyland Resort. From special character appearances and decorations to Halloween attractions, seasonal food and limited-edition merchandise, the resort has once again embraced the spooky season.

• For fans who love Disney character costumes, however, a visit to Town Square should be near the top of the Halloween itinerary. Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy are now ready to greet guests in their festive new outfits, providing a fun way to officially kick off Halloween Time at Disneyland.
