Music groups throughout the Disneyland Resort are helping to celebrate Pixar Fest with their fun performances. While they all know a variety of songs, they really seem to enjoy playing one in particular. Since Pixar Fest is about friendship and being together forever, it only makes sense that “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” is a favorite among the musicians. This summer is going to be full of Pixar fun! Get ready for a new movie release, brand new land, and a redesigned pier. It doesn’t matter if you’re a kid or a kid at heart, this year you’ll be invited to celebrate friendship, family, and fun.
- On the West Coast
- Disneyland Resort brought back two beloved parades for Pixar Fest. The Pixar Play Parade makes its way through Disneyland Park, and Paint the Night lights up Disney California Adventure after dark.
- After months of refurbishment, Paradise Pier will officially become Pixar Pier. Opening on June 23rd, the Pier will feature the Incredicoaster, Jessie’s Critter Carousel, and the Pixar Pal Around.
- On the East Coast
- Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios will open on Saturday, June 30th. Guests will experience two new rides, Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers. They’ll also be able enjoy tasty treats at Woody’s Lunchbox.
- Are you heading to Disney’s Contemporary Resort? Give the kids a night off at the brand new, Pixar Play Zone. They can meet favorite characters, become honorary Space Rangers, and make new friends.
