Guests heading to Tokyo Disneyland this winter will be able to get an extra sugar rush with the latest Disney Pal-Palooza special event, Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World, running through March 16th. Our contributor Kawamura Tetsuya has shared a number of fantastic photos from the event with us.
Upon entering the park, guests are immediately greeted with colorful decorations featuring Vanellope von Schweetz from Wreck-It Ralph.
The sugar-filled decor continues into the park, where Mickey Mouse and friends get involved in the decorating.
“It’s a Sweetsful Time!”
As with most events at Tokyo Disneyland, we get an all-new parade, “It’s a Sweetsful Time!” which brings Vanellope’s imagination to life with cute, colorful, and candy-covered floats. The parade kicks off with Vanellope aboard a candy castle.
On another float, Mickey and his rock band will play candy instruments on top of a fruit tart shaped stage. Headlined by Minnie and Daisy, the pair will ride on a gallery themed float as they showcase candy creations.
In addition to Vanellope and the other characters listed above, viewers will catch Donald, Goofy, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Belle, Alice, Mad Hatter, Winnie the Pooh and more.
The 6-float parade will stop in Westernland, the Plaza, and Tomorrowland, where guests will be invited to dance alongside their favorite characters.
