Disney+ has confirmed that it is working on a new series called Save Our Squad which will star David Beckham.

What’s Happening:
- Deadline reports that the series Save Our Squad is officially in the works over at Disney+ starring David Beckham.
- The series will have Beckham returning back to East London football pitches where he played as a child as he mentors a young team struggling to survive in the league.
- The series which was rumored last month will be produced by Twenty Twenty and Studio 99.
- Sean Doyle, director of original production for unscripted general entertainment in EMEA for Disney+, will executive produce the original series.
