“Star Wars: Ahsoka” Star Rosario Dawson Announced to Appear as Guest at Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025

Dawson has also appeared as Ahsoka Tano in "The Mandalorian" and "The Book of Boba Fett."

With the second season of Star Wars: Ahsoka entering into production sometime this year, it makes perfect sense that Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 just announced that actress Rosario Dawson– who plays the title character of Ahsoka Tano– will be among the celebrity guests at the highly anticipated event this spring.

What’s happening:

  • Star Wars: Ahsoka star Rosario Dawson (Rent) will be among the celebrity guests at Star Wars Celebration 2025 in Japan.
  • Dawson first appeared as the live-action version of former Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian. That was followed by a cameo in Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett and her own series entitled Star Wars: Ahsoka.
  • Season 2 of Ahsoka is currently ramping up into production, so it makes sense that Lucasfilm would want to promote the show at Star Wars Celebration.

What they’re saying:

  • Star Wars Celebration: “Rosario Dawson, who brought Ahsoka Tano to live-action, is coming to Star Wars Celebration Japan! See her and more guests by getting your tickets today!”

Star Wars Celebration Japan takes place from April 18th through the 20th at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City. For additional information and to purchase tickets to the event, be sure to visit the official Star Wars Celebration website.
