Disney has slowly been revealing information about the multi year, ongoing transformation of Epcot as well as teasing even more news to come out at D23 Expo 2019. Well folks, the wait is over as Bob Chapek, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, announced what’s in store for the future of our beloved Disney parks, resorts, and Cruise Line.

Disneyland Paris

  • During today’s presentation, fans got a first look at the transformation of Hotel New York as it becomes Hotel New York The Art of Marvel.

  • On top of that, a new Spider-Man attraction will put guests in the middle of the action, giving them a chance to test out their own super powers.

  • Finally, it’ll be okay to play with your food at Pym Test Kitchen where scientists are using Pym Particles to grow and shrink food!

Disney Springs

Disney and Target

  • The “shop-in-shop” will feature an enhanced Disney assortment including products that were previously only available at Disney retail locations.

Disney Wish and Lighthouse Point

  • Disney Cruise Line completed its purchase of privately owned Lighthouse Point earlier this year and signed an agreement with the Government of The Bahamas that guides the responsible and sustainable way the site will be developed.
  • Once everything is approved, construction could begin in 2020 with completion in late 2022 or 2023.

Hollywood Studios

  • New concept art and details were revealed for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. The attraction is slated to open in spring 2020!
