Disneyland Resort Spreads Disney Magic Across the City for the Happiest Day in Anaheim

The Disneyland Resort is about to celebrate the residents of Anaheim with the Happiest Day in Anaheim event taking place this Thursday.

What's Happening:

• The Disneyland Resort has called Anaheim home since 1955, with its mission of creating happiness extending beyond the theme parks and into the surrounding community.
• Last year, Disneyland celebrated its 70th anniversary with 70 Happiest Hours in Anaheim, a three-day city-wide celebration featuring special experiences for local residents.
• This year, Disneyland Resort is continuing that tradition with the Happiest Day in Anaheim, taking place on Thursday, August 27th.
• Ahead of the celebration, Disneyland has already been spreading some pixie dust throughout Anaheim, surprising more than 2,000 residents with special treat stops at community centers and local events throughout the month.
• Disney VoluntEARS have popped up at locations including Oak Canyon Nature Center and the YMCA Sports Complex, handing out surprises such as bubble wands, Mickey Mouse plush and Minnie Mouse ears.
• Even more surprises are planned for the Happiest Day in Anaheim, including treat stops and appearances from beloved Disney characters at locations throughout the city.
• Anaheim residents are encouraged to keep an eye out for even more Disney magic leading up to and throughout August 27th.
