Vampires in Berlin: Hulu Drops Trailer for New German Original "City of Blood"

Hulu has shared the trailer for City of Blood, a new German original following estranged sisters as they reunite in a divided, vampire-run Berlin.

What's Happening:

• It’s the future and Berlin is collapsing. While privieged elite live beneath a climate-controlled dome, those outside struggle to survive in a world ravaged by heat, corruption, and crime. After years apart, sisters Bea and Phoebe are reunited and uncover a dark secret: Vampires are determined to seize political power — and blood has become the city's new currency. Caught between human brutality and the inhuman, the sisters must fight to protect their lives and loved ones, while confronting the question: who is the greater monster, human or vampire?​
• The new series is based on the graphic novel Berlinoir and stars Lea Drinda, Soma Pysall and Franz Hartwig.
• City of Blood arrives on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally on September 16, 2026.
