Walt Disney World Resort President Jeff Vahle shared his enthusiasm for Walt Disney World on Instagram in an audio track that also played throughout the Magic Kingdom park today.
What’s Happening:
- Walt Disney World Resort President Jeff Vahle has taken to Instagram to share a brief history of the dedication of the Magic Kingdom, saying that today’s wish remains the same and thanks Guests and Cast Members for making Walt Disney World what it is 50 years later.
- The video then goes into a montage showcasing the Beacons of Magic from around Walt Disney World, as well as numerous guest relations Cast Members, all with the new anthem of the World’s Most Magical Celebration playing behind it, “The Magic is Calling.”
- Vahle captioned the video simply: “The World’s Most Magical Celebration is now underway! #DisneyWorld50” And he’s not wrong. Today marks the first official day of the World’s Most Magical Celebration marking the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World.
- Throughout Walt Disney World, guests can enjoy new fireworks spectaculars like Disney Enchantment and Harmonious, shows like Disney KiteTails, and even find the 50 Golden characters of the Disney Fab 50 Collection of statues scattered throughout the four theme parks.
- Along with receiving Commemorative Guidemaps, guests to the Magic Kingdom today could hear the same narration that Vahle recorded for this Instagram post played throughout the park to mark the 50th anniversary of the park, October 1st, 2021, and can be overheard in the video below.
- You can also hear the World’s Most Magical Celebration anthem, “The Magic is Calling” wherever you go, as it was released today on most streaming platforms.
