“The World’s Most Magical Celebration” begins October 1st at the Walt Disney World Resort. With Cinderella Castle already shimmering in “Earidescent” shades of gold and teases of the upcoming Fab 50 Character Collection, we’re noticing daily changes at the resort. Today, the Main Street Train Station, one of the first sights that greet Guests when they arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, has received an extra touch of magic for the occasion.
Featuring the stylish 50th logo, a banner has been added above the popular Mickey Floral photo spot that declares this to be “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”
Particularly for Guests arriving at Magic Kingdom by bus from a Walt Disney World resort hotel, this sight sets the tone for their day in the park. Now, it also invites them into the 50th Anniversary Celebration from the moment they use a touchpoint to enter the park.
Guests who arrive via the Transportation and Ticket Center will get a “Scene zero” (the term Walt Disney Imagineers use for story elements sprinkled through an attraction queue before you reach a preshow or the attraction itself).
