Walt Disney World Marathon

Dates and Events

Taking place each January, the Walt Disney World Marathon is the only full marathon offered runDisney. The 2019 event weekend will be January 9th through the 12th. This exciting race weekend includes a 5K, 10K, half marathon, full marathon, and kids races. If that’s not enough, sail to the Bahamas aboard the Disney Dream on the Disney Cruise Line. January 14th through the 18th guests will enjoy a tropical escape to Castaway Cay where runners can participate in one more 5k on the Disney owned island.

The Walt Disney World 5K will be held on Thursday, January 10th. Next, the Walt Disney World 10K will take place Friday, January 11th. On Saturday, January 12th runners will take off for the Walt Disney World Half Marathon. Disney Kids races including Kids Dashes, the Diaper Dash, and the One Mile Run will be held on Friday January 11th and Saturday January 12th.

Finally, the Walt Disney World Marathon will be held on Sunday, January 13th.

Runners looking fro some serious challenges can choose between the Goofy’s Race and a Half (half marathon and full marathon — 39.3 miles) and the Dopey Challenge (5K, 10K, half marathon, and full marathon — 48.6 miles).

Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend

The 2019 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend will take place at Walt Disney World February 21st through the 24th and will include a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Kids Races in addition to the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo, hosted at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

First, the Disney Princess 5K will be held on Friday, February 22nd. Next, the Disney Princess Enchanted 10K will take place Saturday, February 23rd. Also on Saturday, February 23rd, a number of kids races will be held. This includes Kids Dashes, the Diaper Dash, and the One Mile Run.

Finally, the Disney Princess Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, February 24th.

Racers who can’t get enough runDisney fun can also register for the Disney Fairytale Challenge. Runners who sign up for this challenge and complete both the Princess Enchanted 10K and Princess Half Marathon will receive a special challenge medal for their accomplishment.

Star Wars Rival Run Half Marathon

Dates and Events

The 2019 Star Wars Rival Run Half Marathon Weekend will take place at Walt Disney World on April 4th through the 7th and include a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Kids Races in addition to the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo, located at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Kicking off the weekend, the Star Wars Rival Run 5K will be on Friday, April 5th at 5:30 a.m. Followed by the Star Wars Rival Run 10K on Saturday, April 6th at 5:30 a.m. and the Kids Dashes from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Diaper Dash from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., and the One Mile Run at 1:00 p.m.

The main event — the Star Wars Rival Run Half Marathon will be on Sunday, April 7th at 5:30 a.m.

Entry Fees and Challenges

Beyond the individual races, runners can also participate in the Rival Run Challenge. This consists of both the Star Wars Rival Run 10K and the Star Wars Rival Run Half Marathon. Completing both races (and registering for the Rival Run Challenge) will entitle runners to a special challenge medal. Fans who want to push themselves even further can register for the runDisney Kessel Run Challenge. The runDisney Kessel Run challenge is virtual half marathon—completed any time between January 1–March 31, 2019—and the Star Wars Rival Run Half Marathon or the Rival Run Challenge.

Disneyland Paris Run Weekend

Dates and Events

The 2019 Disneyland Paris Run Weekend will take place at Disneyland Paris September 19th through the 22nd. The festivities will include a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Kids Races in addition to the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo, located at the Disneyland Paris Events Arena.

The weekend courses begin with the Disneyland Paris 5K will be held on Friday, September 20th at 8:00 pm. The second course, the Disneyland Paris 10K, will take place Saturday, September 21st at 7:00 am. Later that day, the Kids Dashes will be held at 11:00 am.

Closing things out will be the Disneyland Paris-Val d’Europe Half Marathon on Sunday, September 22nd at 7:00 am.

The 2018 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend will take place at Walt Disney World November 1st through the 4th. The festivities will include a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon ,and Kids Races in addition to the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo, located at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

The weekend courses begin with the Disney Fall Feast 5K will be held on Friday, November 2nd at Animal Kingdom at 5:30 am. The second course, the Disney Wine & Dine 10K, will take place Saturday, November 3rd at 5:30 am. Later that day, the Kids Dashes will be held at 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Diaper Dash from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., and the One Mile Run at 1:00 p.m.

Closing things out will be the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon on Sunday, November 4th at 5:30 am with a post-race party held at Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival that evening.
